Repair Services
Our A/C service and safety inspection includes cleaning the outdoor condenser unit, checking refrigerant pressures and temperatures, cleaning or replacing dirty filters, inspecting electrical components for corrosion or wear, and verifying safe operation and correct temperature delivery throughout your home.
Service vs. Breakdown Repair
"Service" requests can refer to either maintenance or breakdown repair. Service refers to routine maintenance on working systems to keep them running. Breakdown repair means fixing systems that are noisy or have already stopped working. Knowing the difference helps us send the right technician and equipment for your needs.
When You Need Routine Service
Schedule your annual A/C Service and Safety Inspection in late spring, just before the summer heat arrives, so your system is ready when you need it most. Routine service helps prevent short cycling (frequent on/off operation), which leads to higher energy use and premature wear and damage on the systemsβ parts.
When You Need Breakdown Repair
If your A/C has already stopped delivering cool air, won't turn on, or isn't cooling correctly, you need a breakdown repair, not a routine Service and Safety Inspection. Breakdown repairs may require different technicians and equipment from maintenance visits. Regular service helps your system operate safely and can help avoid costly emergency repairs.
Maintenance Services
A/C Maintenance
A/C maintenance means checking and cleaning your system before problems start. We test refrigerant pressures, clean or replace dirty filters, check electrical connections, and clean parts that get clogged. We also wash the outdoor unit and make sure air flows properly through your vents to keep your home cool.
Maintenance Frequency
Getting your A/C serviced before summer starts helps reduce breakdowns when you need your A/C the most. Regular maintenance can reduce your system from turning on and off too much, which wastes energy and wears out parts faster. A properly maintained system runs steadily instead of constantly cycling on and off.
Stay Prepared
Don't wait for high electric bills or a broken down A/C unit on the hottest day of the year. Getting your unit serviced and safety inspected annually and cleaned helps prevent problems when summer heat hits and you need it the most. Maintenance also keeps your system working properly to remove humidity and cool your home efficiently.
