Repair services
Boilers don’t always give you much warning before something goes wrong. It might be a strange sound, a leak, or heat that isn’t keeping up. Whatever the case, we have a team of Industry-leading Safety Inspection Specialists and technicians, all fully licensed and certified.
Boiler Repair
Repairing a boiler means finding out what’s wrong and fixing it safely and correctly. Depending on the issue, it could involve replacing a part, adjusting the system, flushing out debris, or thoroughly checking the unit to get it running again.
When To Call
Your boiler will usually let you know when something’s off. Strange noises, uneven heat, water near the unit, or an unusual smell can be signs of trouble. Even small changes in how it sounds, feels, or smells can be a sign to get it checked.
Our Expertise
Our fully licensed and certified Safety Inspection Specialists and technicians have worked on almost every type of boiler. With over 40 years of experience, we know what to look for and how to fix it.
Boiler Safety Inspection
A Safety Inspection is a routine checkup for your boiler. During this visit, our technicians test how the system is running, look for signs of leaks or wear, and make any necessary adjustments. The goal is to ensure everything is operating safely and efficiently, with no parts being overworked or overlooked. Regular Safety Inspections help keep your boiler in good running condition, helping you avoid costly repairs while making sure your home stays warm when you need it most. By checking all the key components and addressing small issues early, we can help prevent them from turning into bigger, more expensive problems down the road.

Safety Inspection Frequency
Once a year is a good rule of thumb. If your boiler’s been running without a check for longer than that, or you’re not sure when it was last serviced, it’s probably time. Regular Maintenance makes it easier to avoid a costly breakdown when you need heat the most. Annual maintenance is recommended by all manufacturers. Regular yearly service helps ensure your system runs efficiently and safely while extending its lifespan.
Stay Prepared
It’s hard to think about maintenance until something goes wrong. But when you stay ahead of it, everything else tends to run smoother, especially during the colder months. And if you’re eligible for a rebate, we’ll help you through that process, too.

Frequently Asked Questions
Any parts that we replace during a Safety Inspection or repair work come with a one-year warranty. This gives you peace of mind knowing that our work and the parts we install are covered.
A boiler is a hydronic system that uses hot water to heat your home. The system heats water to around 82°C (180°F), then a circulator pump moves that heated water through pipes to your baseboard radiators, or radiant in-floor tubing system to provide warmth throughout your home.
You should call for boiler repair if you notice strange odours in your home, which could indicate a gas leak or other safety issue. You should also seek a repair service if you hear unusual sounds like clanking, grinding, or moaning, as a properly running boiler should operate almost silently, or if you see water leaking around the boiler area.
Boiler replacements are typically needed after 20 to 25 years of being in service, depending on the level of maintenance and usage. You should also consider replacement when your unit continually breaks down and repair costs become frequent and expensive.
Look for a well-established company like BC Furnace that keeps the most popular boiler replacement parts on their service vehicles. This reduces labour costs since technicians won’t need to make multiple trips to pick up parts, resulting in your boiler being fixed faster and more affordably.
